2012 16th Annual Celtic Brew-off

On behalf of the Knights Of The Brown Bottle and Texas Scottish Festival And Highland Games, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the 2012 16th Annual Celtic Brew-off. Be sure to read the competition rules
The Celtic Brew-Off is the largest homebrewing competition in the country devoted exclusively to beers, mead, and cider with origins in Celtic nations of the world. In 2011 the Celtic received over 250 entries and 2012 looks to be even bigger. Thank you for your support!
The Celtic Brew-Off is open to all brewers and follows Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP) guidelines. Note that these guidelines have been modified slightly to incorporate styles unique to Celtic Brew-Off. For example, the “Celtic” is partially responsible for the adoption of the Baltic Porter category within the BJCP guidelines and we look to add others to the list!
Entries will be accepted from Friday March 23rd, during the Bluebonnet Brew-Off, through Thursday April 12th. Judges and stewards of all levels and experience are welcome. First and second round judging will be held April 21st and 22nd. A light lunch will be provided and there will be door prizes for those participating in the judging. The 2012 Celtic Brew-Off will conclude the first weekend in May at the Texas Scottish Festival and Highland Games in Arlington, TX.
Put on your kilts, dust off the bagpipes, and heat up your brew kettles. We invite you to come and join us for the fun and camaraderie of the forthcoming 2012 Celtic Brew-Off.

Registration
Registration for the 2012 16th Annual Celtic Brew-off will open March 1, 2012 and will close on April 14, 2012. Please note: registered users will not be able to add, view, edit or delete entries after the registration close date.
Judging and Stewarding
If you are willing to judge or steward, please return to register on or after March 1, 2012.
Entries
Entries will be accepted March 23, 2012 through April 12, 2012. All entries must be received by our shipping location or at a drop-off location by April 12, 2012. Entries will not be accepted beyond this date. For details, see the Entry Information page.
