Knights:
The annual club brew in is set for Saturday, Oct 8th. Will be hosted by The Woogie, Duke, Daisy and their people – Brad & Kim. We’ll get started first thing in the morning – whatever time that be for you – we’ll make it 8:00 am for us.
We will be brewing a big batch – come out with somewhere around 50 gal to split up for people to then boil on their own – adding their touch of hops and whatever else you’d like to put in there. Mike Haws will describe the base beer, right Mike?
We need to get a list circulating if you want to bring something – that way we don’t end up with a dozen different potato salads and nothing else. We will smoke a brisket and pulled pork as usual. We’ll set up the club tent as the food tent – unless it looks like rain and we need that as brewing shelter.
We will also have Mike’s (or the club’s) 12 head tap “portable” bar – so we’ll need some kegs. We did not get around to discussing if the club will/could order a couple commercial kegs from Pat – we need to get that organized.
Don’t forget to bring entries for AHA Club Only Competition if you have them. We will choose one entry and get it shipped the following week.
